Description
The Rimanóczy Palace is a unique architectural monument in Oradea, combining an eclectic style with neo-Gothic elements. Originally the residence of the famous architect Rimanóczy Kálmán Jr. who designed many significant buildings in the city.
The two-story façade divided into 7 sections with Ionic columns on the upper level delights any architecture lover. Particularly noteworthy is the exterior gallery resembling a balcony and the first floor windows closed with a circular arch.
Since 1921, the building has served as the seat of the Romanian Orthodox Bishopric, further emphasizing its cultural significance.
