Ribeira do Faial da Terra Trailhead

Ribeira do Faial da Terra Trailhead is a scenic hiking trail on the island of São Miguel in the Azores. This 7.3-kilometer trail leads through lush vegetation, offering unforgettable views of mountains and valleys.

Two spectacular waterfalls await along the route: Salto do Cagarrão and Salto do Prego, where you can take a dip in the crystal clear water. The trail also passes through the abandoned village of Sanguinho and an old watermill, providing a glimpse into the island's history.
