Description
The 'Obrożyska Lime Forest' nature preserve is a unique forest area in Muszyna, a relic from the last ice age 4000-2000 years ago.
The 100 hectares are mainly home to small-leaved linden, as well as fir, spruce and beech. The specific microclimate is conducive to the diversity of fauna - you can meet badgers, wild boars, roe deer, foxes and even rare species like wildcat and mnemosinus pollen.
A designated 3-kilometer educational path with information boards, benches and shelters allows for a leisurely two-hour walk, during which you can learn about the natural wealth of this unique place.
