Wielki Meteor

The Great Meteor is the most impressive monastery in the Meteora complex, a UNESCO gem in Greece. Perched atop a majestic 613-meter-high rock, it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

Founded in the 14th century, it served as a cultural and artistic center, preserving Hellenic traditions during the Turkish occupation. The interiors are decorated with valuable Byzantine frescoes and icons.
