Description
The Monastery of the Order of Friars Minor (OFM) is a pearl of sacred architecture in Wschowa, whose history dates back to 1457.
The stunning complex combines Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles, offering an unforgettable aesthetic experience. St. Joseph's Church with Rococo altars by Antoni Schulz, Renaissance epitaphs of the Gurowski family and Baroque polychromes create a unique atmosphere of spirituality and art.
Particularly noteworthy are the Capella Sanctae Crucis with its 15th century Gothic crucifix and the picturesque Indulgence Courtyard with its cloisters and Rococo chapels.
