Stations of the Cross

Stations of the Cross is a historic pilgrimage route dating back to the mid-18th century in picturesque Český Krumlov. It consists of six stations in the form of chapels, built between 1750 and 1755, leading to the summit of Křížová hora.

The culmination of the route is the octagonal Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows and Holy Cross from 1710, surrounded by arcades. The summit offers a breathtaking view of the city and the Bohemian Forest.

The gentle 30-minute climb makes it an ideal place for a leisurely stroll, combining spirituality with admiring Baroque architecture and beautiful landscapes.
