Regional Park Ballincollig

Ballincollig Regional Park is a fascinating park located on the site of a former gunpowder factory, which is the largest archaeological industrial site in Ireland.

It's a nature lover's paradise with more than 200 species of wildflowers, 59 species of birds and five species of bats.

The park offers a variety of attractions: colorful walking trails of various lengths, a playground, skate park, outdoor gym and sports fields. Particularly noteworthy are the pollinator trail and otter trail, which highlight the park's importance as a wildlife habitat.
