Råbjerg Mile

Råbjerg Mile is the largest wandering dune in Northern Europe. This fascinating natural wonder moves 15-20 meters a year in an easterly direction, creating a unique desert landscape.

The dune is about 1 kilometer wide, 1 kilometer long and rises 40 meters above sea level. It was created in the 16th century during the great sand application on the west coast of Denmark.

It is an ideal place for nature lovers, photographers and hikers. While hiking along the dune, you can view a variety of ecosystems and wild birds, including rare species.
