Description

Provincial Court is an impressive example of neo-Gothic architecture in the heart of Bruges' Market Square. The building, also known as the Provinciaal Hof, impresses with its rich facade with intricate stone details, soaring turrets and stained glass windows.

The interior conceals richly decorated halls, including the Gothic Hall with paintings depicting scenes from Bruges' history.

It's a place with a fascinating past - a medieval Waterhalle from the 13th century originally stood here, and the current structure was built after a fire in 1878. An excellent spot when visiting the city center.
