Description
Princes Street Gardens is a charming park in the heart of Edinburgh that was created in the 1820s after the Nor Loch marshes were drained.
It's a place full of history and attractions - you'll find the world's oldest floral clock dating back to 1903, the neo-Gothic Scott Monument, and the cast-iron Ross Fountain from 1872.
In December, the park transforms into a winter wonderland with a Christmas market and Ferris wheel. For families, there is a large playground with slides, merry-go-rounds and climbing ropes. It's the perfect place for a relaxing stroll amidst the greenery and sights.
