Description
Predjamski Grad is a unique Renaissance castle built into the mouth of a cave in south-central Slovenia. Built on a 123-meter-high cliff, this impregnable medieval bastion combines fascinating history with natural surroundings.
The castle is famous for the figure of Erasmus Lueger, a knight and highwayman nicknamed the 'noble bandit' or Slovenian Robin Hood, who used secret passages for escapes and supplies.
It is an ideal destination for history buffs, adventurers and those interested in local culture and folklore.
