Description
The Royal Garden is Denmark's oldest royal park, founded in 1606 by King Christian IV. This 12-hectare green nook in the heart of Copenhagen impresses with its symmetrical alleys, carefully maintained flower beds and rose garden.
History buffs will appreciate the Renaissance Krumspringet garden with its pavilions and stiles, while families with children will appreciate the friendly playground with a fairy tale dragon. During the summer months, you can relax with music during the Jazz Festival or watch a marionette theater performance.
It's the perfect place to catch your breath among the greenery and take in the atmosphere of Denmark's royal heritage.
