Description
Shotover Country Park is a 117-acre park offering spectacular views of south Oxfordshire. This unique area is a mosaic of hidden valleys, diverse landscapes and natural habitats, recognized as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
The park has three marked trails of varying lengths, a natural sandpit loved by children, and 5 km of paths for equestrians and cyclists. You can enjoy jogging, horseback riding, orienteering or geocaching.
The site, inhabited for thousands of years, hides traces of ancient settlements, medieval quarries and World War II-era defensive structures.
