Description
RSPB Dunnet Head is Britain's northernmost point, offering breathtaking views of the sea and cliffs.
It's a wildlife lover's paradise, where you can observe mascons, auks, boobies and other seabirds nesting on the steep cliffs. The nesting season from April to August is particularly spectacular.
The historic lighthouse, built in 1831 by Robert Stevenson, adds to the site's unique character. From the viewing platform, you can enjoy a 360-degree panorama and, if you're lucky, spot whales and dolphins passing nearby.
