Description
The Palace Park in Bialowieza is a historical gem designed by Walerian Kronenberg in English style after 1895 as part of a tsarist hunting lodge.
It delights with an abundance of more than 200 species of trees and shrubs, among which reign over 250-year-old pedunculate oaks.
Walking through the alleys, one can admire the historic buildings of the palace complex, the beautiful causeway between two ponds and the stone obelisk commemorating the 1752 hunt of August III Sas.
This is an ideal place for history and nature lovers, where you can observe wild animals in their natural habitat.
