Description
The Gothenburg Botanical Garden is one of the largest and most impressive botanical gardens in Europe. The 175-hectare area houses some 16,000-20,000 plant species from 130 countries around the world.
The garden, founded in 1919, offers a variety of themed zones, including a Rock Garden, an Herb Garden with a demonstration beehive, a Japanese Gorge and an Arboretum with a scientific collection of trees.
Nature lovers will appreciate the abundance of flora, while families with children will find a space for relaxation and education. It's the perfect place to stroll among exotic and local plant species.
