Description
The Adam Mickiewicz University Botanical Garden is a green oasis in the heart of Poznan, founded in 1906 and officially opened in 1925 by President Stanislaw Wojciechowski.
On 17.5 hectares you'll find fascinating thematic collections - from the Rosarium with nearly 3,000 roses to the unique Alpinarium. A special pride of the garden is the National Collection of Iregs, the largest in Poland.
It is an ideal place for both botany lovers and those looking for a quiet rest among nature. Walking along the picturesque paths, you will discover plants from different corners of the world and relax by the fountain with a sculpture of a ballerina.

Rachana J Tandel2 months agoWonderful experience to visit during spring season. You get to see variety of flowers and plants. Visit on weekdays it will be less crowded and you can take good pictures.
Benjamin Avezov4 months agoA beautiful garden, unfortunately during my visit a lot of plants were not growing properly but that is because of the season (middle march). Worth a visit probably during mid spring I think
