Karl Foerster Garden

Karl Foerster Garden is a unique place for gardening enthusiasts, located in Potsdam. Created in 1912 by horticultural pioneer Karl Foerster, this historic garden delights with a variety of plants that bloom throughout the year.

The garden is divided into themed zones: rock garden, spring path, natural garden, fall beds and experimental garden. Each section showcases innovative combinations of perennials, grasses and shrubs.

The garden has been a monument since 1981, and was reconstructed for the Federal Horticultural Exhibition in 2001. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Potsdam-Sanssouci.
