Japanese Garden

The Japanese Garden in Düsseldorf is an enchanting 5,000 sq. ft. oasis of tranquility located in Nordpark. Designed by Japanese landscape architects, it is a gift from the Japanese community to the city.

It is the perfect place for lovers of nature and Eastern culture. Walking along the winding paths, one can admire the traditional elements: a pond with colorful koi carp, small waterfalls, carefully trimmed Japanese maples and azaleas.

Each element of the garden has a symbolic meaning, from the 'upright spirit tree' to the Kasuga-style stone lanterns, creating an authentic Japanese atmosphere ideal for contemplation and photography.
