Grüner See is an extraordinary park in the heart of Austria, known as the 'Caribbean Alps'.
This magical place changes with the seasons - in winter it is a shallow lake with visible paths, and in spring, when the snow melts, the water fills the valley, drowning benches, paths and trees. The crystal clear, emerald water allows you to see the submerged landscape.
The best time to admire this phenomenon is in May and June, when the lake reaches depths of up to 10 meters. An ideal place for photography and hiking on the surrounding trails.
