Finemere Wood is a 45-acre nature reserve with a rich history of royal hunting.
Once part of the medieval Bernwood Forest, it now impresses with its diversity of flora and fauna. In spring, the forest floor is covered with a feminine of primroses and bluebells, and in summer you can admire rare butterflies, including the purple emperor.
This is an ideal place for lovers of nature and tranquility. A 2.4 km long designated path allows you to discover all the charms of this magical place, where history intertwines with nature in a harmonious whole.
