Description
Burggarten is a historic park in Vienna that once served as a private imperial garden of the Habsburg dynasty. Established in the English style, it delights with winding paths, green lawns and scattered trees.
The park features famous monuments, including an 1896 statue of Mozart and a statue of Emperor Franz Joseph I. A special attraction is the Palmenhaus, a beautiful example of Art Nouveau architecture, housing a café and the tropical butterfly house Schmetterlinghaus.
It's the perfect place to relax in the heart of the city, where you can admire exotic butterflies, relax in a peaceful atmosphere or take a scenic picnic.
