Description
Bourgoyen-Ossemeersen is a unique medieval floodplain meadow complex in Ghent, spread over 220 hectares. This charming nature reserve is famous for its diverse flora and fauna, especially its abundance of waterfowl, including ducks, gulls and geese.
There are three marked walking trails of varying lengths, accessible to strollers and wheelchair users. The historic Falconer's House in the center of the preserve adds to the site's unique character.
