Quinta da Ervamoira (UNESCO World Heritage) is a unique historical monument located in the Côa Valley in Portugal.
This site combines fascinating history with wine culture. The site is home to some 5,000 prehistoric cave paintings dating from 22,000-8,000 B.C. and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The vineyard is famous for its pioneering methods of growing grapes on steep slopes. The Sítio de Ervamoira Museum features exhibits related to the region and prehistoric engravings, and wine lovers can enjoy a variety of tastings, including the famous 10-year-old Porto Tawny.
