Ponta da Piedade Boardwalk Start Point

Ponta da Piedade Boardwalk Start Point is the start of a scenic wooden path along the spectacular Algarve coastline.

The trail leads through breathtaking limestone rock formations, natural arches and hidden grottoes shaped by winter storms. Numerous vantage points offer panoramic views of the Atlantic and unique rock formations.

The path is accessible to people of all ages and fitness levels, although it does include a few wooden stairs. The walk to the lighthouse takes about 30 minutes, and an additional 180 steps lead to the main viewpoint.
