Pomnik Mozarta w Wiedniu

The Mozart Memorial in Vienna is a majestic neo-baroque sculpture by Viktor Tilgner from 1896, located in Burggarten Park.

Made of Val Venosta marble and dark diorite, it depicts the brilliant composer holding a score and pen. The bas-reliefs adorning the monument show scenes from the opera 'Don Giovanni' and the little Mozart playing for his father and sister.

Originally unveiled at Albertinaplatz, it was moved to the former Habsburg royal gardens after World War II, where it is a must-see for lovers of classical music and art history.
