The Anti-Nuclear Power Shelter for the City of Poznań is a fascinating historical structure built in the 1950s and 1960s as a potential shelter for Poznań authorities in the event of a nuclear war.

This unique monument has preserved original equipment from the communist era - generators, air filters, furniture, maps, plumbing, telephones and radios. The 500 sq. m. exhibition area features a central telephone exchange, offices and a command center.

It's a real time capsule that takes you back to the Cold War period and shows how Polish authorities prepared for potential threats.
