Description
The Freedom Fighters Monument is a unique historical monument in Ryki, unveiled on November 11, 1928 to mark the 10th anniversary of Poland's independence.
The distinctive eagle on the pedestal, designed by Czeslaw Szlendak, symbolizes the fight for the country's sovereignty.
It is not only a monument, but a testimony to patriotism and dedication to the motherland. There are also other historical monuments in the area, such as a plaque commemorating AK soldiers and a cross by the Buksa pond, commemorating the execution of four AK soldiers in 1947.
