Muzeum Kapliczek w Surażu

The Museum of Shrines in Suraż is a unique place where about 350 wooden shrine figures made by local folk artists have been collected.

The collection depicts figures of Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary and various Catholic saints, such as St. Florian and St. John Nepomucen. Most of the artifacts are displayed in a converted veranda, while some are an outdoor exhibit.

Each figurine has its own story, reflecting the craftsmanship and cultural heritage of the region. It is an excellent place for lovers of folk art and traditional crafts.
