Muzeum Archeologiczne Oddział Muzeum Miejskiego Wrocławia

The Archaeological Museum Branch of the Wroclaw City Museum is one of the oldest archaeological museums in Europe, founded in 1815. It is housed in the historic City Arsenal, a Gothic building dating back to the Middle Ages.

The exhibits range from the Stone Age (500,000 years ago) to the 19th century. The permanent exhibition 'Ancient and Medieval Silesia' presents the fascinating history of the region through tools, jewelry and everyday objects.

The museum also has an impressive collection of white arms and helmets, including a 17th century Turkish saber.
