Muzeum Agatów w Rudnie

The Agate Museum in Rudno is a fascinating place for geology and mineral enthusiasts. Located on the volcanic hill of Spalisko, it showcases an impressive collection of agates collected from the surrounding fields and a disused melaphyr quarry between 1980 and 2021.

The museum features beautifully polished agates, often found with amethysts and quartz, as well as fossils of the Jurassic sea and fragments of fossilized trees. An interactive table with a video display enriches the tour experience.

An additional attraction is the opportunity to participate in a simulated agate search in the 'agate field' and a workshop where you can grind the specimens you find.
