Description
The ruins of Tarnowski Castle are a fascinating historical monument dating back to the 14th century, located on Mount St. Martin.
Built in 1328-1331 by Spycimir of the Leliwa Coat of Arms, the castle was one of the most magnificent buildings of the Renaissance era after its reconstruction by Hetman Jan Amor Tarnowski.
Today you can admire the remains of the brick fortifications and foundations, and enjoy a panoramic view of Tarnow's Old Town. It is an ideal place for lovers of history and beautiful landscapes, combining the past with nature.
