Grodno Governor's Mansion is a unique historical monument in the heart of Bialowieza.
Built in 1817-1818, the wooden manor house with its characteristic four-column portico and shingled roof is an excellent example of Polish 19th century architecture.
Between 1818 and 1827 it served as the governor's residence, hosting such personalities as Ignacy Jan Paderewski and Gabriel Narutowicz.
Located near the Bialowieza National Park, it is an ideal place for history and nature lovers who wish to combine sightseeing with communing with nature.
