Dom Przedpogrzebowy Bet Tahara

The Bet Tahara Preburial House is a unique architectural monument and the only vestige of the Jewish community in Olsztyn. Designed in 1913 by the famous architect Erich Mendelsohn, it represents his first significant work.

The building underwent a major renovation in 2006-2011, during which the original dome with mosaics and paintings was uncovered and the floor with the Star of David was restored.

Today, the site serves as a center for intercultural dialogue and cultural events, offering a unique perspective on the Jewish traditions and history of the region.
