Description
The ruins of the Orthodox Church in Berezka are a fascinating historical monument that takes you back in time to the 19th century. Originally a wooden temple from the 15th century, it was replaced by a brick Greek Catholic church in 1868.
After being abandoned in 1947, the remains of the Orthodox Church of the Transfiguration became a picturesque spot on the map of the Bieszczady Mountains.
It is an ideal place for history, architecture and photography lovers. The atmospheric ruins surrounded by the beauty of Bieszczady landscapes are a unique reminder of local cultural and religious heritage.
