Najdłuższa Deska Świata (Szymbark)

The World's Longest Plank (Szymbark) is a unique tourist attraction that has won international acclaim. This impressive structure measures 46.53 meters in length and was made from a single piece of Douglas Fir, a tree similar to the Polish larch.

The plank weighs more than 1,100 kilograms and was officially entered into the Guinness Book of World Records on June 2, 2012, with the participation of President Lech Walesa and his wife. It was created from a 120-year-old tree more than 51 meters tall, and more than 300 people worked to make it.

It is not only a record, but also a symbol of the hardwork and traditions of the Kashubian community.
