Grota Sybilli z 1789 roku

The 1789 Sybil's Grotto is a fascinating element of the Arcadia complex in Nieborów, built under the supervision of Szymon Bogumił Zug with the personal involvement of Helena Radziwiłł.

Inspired by the tomb of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the grotto made of field stones conceals the Latin inscription 'Et in Arcadia ego.

The interior is decorated with sculptures, stucco and other decorative elements, part of Arcadia's larger collection of art and antiques. It is an ideal place for lovers of garden architecture and the history of 18th century European culture.
