Description
Huzary is a picturesque peak in the Beskid Sądecki range, 864 meters above sea level, which hides a fascinating history. It is named after the battle of the Bar Confederation, and an artillery shell from the 18th century and a sword with a Latin inscription from 1747 were found on the slopes.
The fully forested slopes of Huzary offer beautiful trails for hikers. The Main Beskid Trail leads from here to other attractive peaks like Jaworzynka and Runek.
The route from Krynica-Zdroj to Huzary (about 4 km) takes about 1.5 hours and leads through the picturesque Spa Park and Parkowa Mountain, providing unforgettable views and contact with nature.
