Description
The Old Zoo in Poznan is one of the oldest zoos in Poland, operating continuously since 1874. It was founded by a group of bowling players who donated a collection of animals to their club president.
Despite its small size, the zoo offers a diverse collection of animals, including lemurs, black swans and farm animals. Children can enjoy pony and donkey rides.
A real gem is the Poikilotherm Pavilion with its impressive Komodo dragon - the largest reptile in the world. Historical pavilions, including the Alpinarium and the Elephant Pavilion, add to the place's unique character.
