Description
The Opawskie Mountains are a picturesque mountain range on the border between Poland and the Czech Republic, part of the Eastern Sudetes. The highest peak on the Polish side is Biskupia Kopa (890 meters above sea level), which offers a magnificent panorama of the area.
The Opawskie Mountains Landscape Park impresses with its biodiversity - more than 500 species of vascular plants and 163 species of protected animals.
Numerous hiking and biking trails, including the Main Sudeten Route, offer excellent conditions for active recreation. PTTK Hostel Pod Biskupią Kopą is an ideal base for mountain hikers.
