Description
Miętusia Polana is a picturesque glade located in the Koscieliska Valley in the Western Tatra Mountains.
It is a place with a rich mining history dating back to the 15th century, where silver and iron ore were once mined. Today it delights with a unique landscape of limestone formations, springs and crags.
The clearing offers beautiful views of the surrounding peaks, and the red trail continues to Ciemniak (2090 meters above sea level). This is an ideal place for lovers of mountain hiking, nature and geological peculiarities.

Paweł5 years agoThe name of the clearing comes from the village head - Miętus from Cichy, who received from King Zygmunt III Vasa the right to graze on it. There used to be a small shelter on Przysłop Miętusi. Unfortunately it burned down in 1987.
Place is very charming- ideal for some stop and picnic.
