Description
The Mickiewicz Waterfall is a picturesque waterfall located in the Tatra Mountains, consisting of three cascades with a total height of 10 meters.
The name comes from the Polish words 'water' and 'thunder', which conveys the roar of falling water, especially after heavy rainfall. In 1891, the waterfall was named in honor of Adam Mickiewicz, commemorating the transfer of his ashes to Poland.
The waterfall can be viewed from a stone bridge on the Oswald Balzer Road leading to Morskie Oko. It is a perfect stop during a hike, offering breathtaking views of the Roztoka stream and the surrounding mountains.
