Description

The Habsburg Hunting Palace in Cieszyn is a remarkable monument of classicist architecture, built between 1838 and 1840 to a design by Joseph Kornhäusel.

This two-story building with a central three-story section hides a fascinating history - it was built on the site of a medieval castle, and in the past hosted Franz Liszt himself and Emperor Franz Joseph I.

Today it houses the Ignacy Paderewski State Music School and the Silesian Castle of Art and Enterprise, combining historical charm with modern functionality.
