Description

John Paul II Groń, Viewpoint is a unique location at 890 meters above sea level offering breathtaking views of the eastern Beskids.

From this picturesque peak you can enjoy panoramic views of Babia Góra, the Polica Massif, the Gorce Mountains, Turbacz, Beskid Makowski and the Tatra Mountains. The peak has special historical significance - it was a favorite hiking spot of Karol Wojtyla, and there is now a chapel dedicated to the pope.

The not-too-steep and well-marked trails, including the Blue Trail from Ponikwa, make this place accessible to different age groups. Nearby is the PTTK Leskowiec Hostel, where you can rest and have a meal after your hike.
