Description
The Lysica Pits are a unique geological phenomenon in the Świętokrzyskie National Park. These fascinating stone fields were formed more than 500 million years ago from quartzitic Cambrian sandstone.
A specially designed viewing gallery allows you to admire this unusual place up close, giving you the impression of direct contact with the gołoborze.
It is worth noting the stone rampart surrounding the top of Lysá Gora, which, according to research, served as religious cult circles in the early Middle Ages. The site is locally known as 'pigeonhole' due to its rugged appearance.
