Description
The Mount St. Anne Nature Reserve is a fascinating geological treasure of Silesia. This former volcanic cone from 27 million years ago represents the easternmost occurrence of basalt in Europe.
The site combines unique natural features with a rich history - you'll find a 15th century church, a 17th century Franciscan monastery and 33 Baroque Calvary chapels.
In 2004 the area was declared a historical monument. Numerous hiking trails allow you to discover the beauty of this unique place, where nature and history create a unique composition.
