Osada pierwszych rolników

The settlement of the first farmers in Biskupin is a fascinating open-air archaeological museum, which is a reconstruction of a Bronze and Iron Age settlement.

On site you can admire reconstructed wooden huts, streets and a defensive palisade, which give an idea of the life of the people of the Lusatian culture 2,700 years ago. Walking through the settlement, you'll feel like you're in a time machine - you'll see the tools, weapons and everyday objects of the ancient inhabitants.

This place is often called 'Polish Pompeii' due to its excellent state of preservation. During the annual archaeological festival you can observe demonstrations of ancient crafts and participate in workshops.
