The fortress at Biskupin is a fascinating open-air archaeological museum presenting a defensive settlement from the turn of the Bronze and Iron Ages.

It is one of the most visited archaeological museums in Europe, where you can see reconstructions of wooden houses, a tower, a gate and a partially reconstructed rampart.
