Description
Casa Museo De Karol Wojtyla 1938-1944 is a unique museum in Krakow that takes you back in time to the years of the future Pope John Paul II's youth.
Located at 10 Tyniecka St., the museum showcases the period of Karol Wojtyla's life during World War II, when he worked at the Solvay quarry and simultaneously studied at a secret seminary.
The exhibition takes a closer look at personal memorabilia, photos and documents related to this formative period in the life of one of the most important Poles of the 20th century. An excellent place for those interested in the history of the Church and Polish spirituality.
