Description
Miedzygórze Castle Ruins is a fascinating historical monument dating back to the 14th century, built during the reign of King Casimir the Great. Situated picturesquely on a hill rising 17 meters above the Opatówka River valley, it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
Originally a Gothic building, it underwent Renaissance reconstruction in the 16th century. It belonged to the Zaklik family, who later adopted the surname Międzygórski. Today, the remains of the castle are the perfect place for history buffs and those seeking peace and quiet amidst the picturesque landscapes of the Świętokrzyskie region.
